I am a stay at home Mother of 2 small boys. My husband deployed to Afghanistan July 2010 for his first year long deployment. Like everything life it has its good days and it's bad ones too. I have talked to lots of other Wives and I hear the first 3 months and the last 3 months are the worst. Also prepare for lack of sleep. I know that for myself I find myself sleeping no more then 4 hours a night I toss and turn constantly. I am created this blog to meet and help other wives and maybe get some helpful tips from other wives that have gone through this before. I would also enjoy meeting local wives for play dates with my kiddo's and introduce other wives as well.
